The following is an abstract based on the article (approximately 170 words): Irrigation water quality plays a crucial role in supporting agricultural sustainability and rice crop growth. This study aimed to analyze the quality of irrigation water in the rice fields of Kolongan Village, Kalawat District, North Minahasa Regency, in accordance with Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management. Field research was conducted from June to July 2025, involving the collection of composite water samples via purposive sampling at three locations (upstream, midstream, and downstream). The variables tested included physical and chemical parameters: temperature, pH, total suspended solids (TSS), and cyanide (CN) levels. Laboratory analysis results indicated that temperature (28–30°C), pH (6–7), and TSS (10–12 mg/L) at all observation points remained within acceptable ranges and met national water quality standards for classes I, II, III, and IV. However, cyanide levels of 0.03 mg/L were detected at all three points, exceeding the established quality standard threshold (0.02 mg/L). These findings indicate the presence of cyanide contamination that could potentially disrupt the rice field ecosystem.
