Agricultural machinery management (AMM) serves as a fundamental pillar in enhancing crop production efficiency amid the declining agricultural labor force in Indonesia. This study aims to map research trends from 2021 to 2026 through a Systematic Literature Review of relevant articles. Results indicate a significant shift toward engineering economic optimization and the adoption of Agriculture 4.0 technologies. Key findings reveal that field efficiency is heavily influenced by land geometry and topography, decreasing by fifteen to twenty percent on sloped terrains due to wheel slip issues. Economically, the primary challenge remains low utilization and the frequent omission of depreciation costs, which prevents machinery units from reaching the critical break-even point. Furthermore, individual management often leads to maintenance neglect. This article concludes that institutional strengthening through mature farmer selection Calon Petani dan Calon Lokasi (CPCL) and the implementation of a Brigade System for centralized maintenance are crucial strategies for ensuring long-term agricultural sustainability.
