Author Guidelines
We accept research articles in English. Submitted manuscripts will undergo a review process, and if they pass the review, they will proceed to the next stage. The general guidelines for article submission are as follows:
- Articles must be original, meaning they have not been published in any journal or book in any language.
- Authors must ensure that their submissions align with the focus and scope of Journal of Literacy and Education.
- Articles must be written in English.
- The title, abstract (150–250 words), and keywords (3–6 keywords) must be provided in both Indonesian and English.
- Articles should be between 4,000 and 6,000 words in length, excluding references.
- The article format should include the following sections:
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
- Articles must be written according to the provided template.
- Conference papers and theses/dissertations may be considered for publication if:
a) The author explicitly states that the article is derived from such sources, and
b) The article has undergone significant revisions. - Authors must include all co-authors who contributed to the manuscript at the time of submission by listing their names in the submission metadata.
- Authors are responsible for all cited sources and must follow the formatting guidelines specified in this document.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote for citations and references, except for primary legal sources.
